Rotary is one of the world’s largest and most successful global membership and humanitarian service organisations, with 1.2 million members in over 200 countries. It was first established in the in 1905 by lawyer Paul Harris.

Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, exemplifies its humanitarian spirit.  Club members work to promote peace, combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training and eradicate polio from the planet.
