POYNTON PARTY IN THE PARK RETURNS IN 2025 WITH BIGGEST PRODUCTION TO DATE!
The Popular Local Festival returns to Poynton Park Saturday 7th June 2025 with three award-winning tribute acts – Oasis, Duran Duran and Jamiroquai – delivering full-length sets during the one-day event.
The Party, running from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, will feature Pyrotechnics, Confetti Streamers, Special Effects, a Funfair, local band Monkey Harris (by popular demand) and lots of fun for the whole family.

Whatever Oasis Tribute are the UK’s No.1 Oasis Tribute Band, having performed at top venues and festivals across the country.
They faithfully recreate the look and iconic sound of Oasis, using Epiphone Rivieras, Sheratons, Gibson Les Pauls, Fender Bass and Pearl Master Series drum kits. Their dedication to authenticity ensures that their performance is the closest experience to a real Oasis concert.

The authentic sound of Duran Duran is faithfully reproduced using the same equipment as used in the studio by the real band to recreate the sound with as much accuracy as possible.

Space Cowboy – A Tribute to Jamiroquai have been thrilling audiences all over the UK and Europe for more than decade and will be coming to Poynton to put the party in Party in the Park.
Experienced musicians, amazing visuals and authentic outfits combine to produce a breath-taking show, featuring studio and live versions of such hits as Cosmic Girl, Canned Heat, Virtual Insanity, Deeper Underground and many more.
Their status as the definitive Jamiroquai tribute act was cemented when Jay Kay and the team shared Space Cowboy’s first live medley video on the Grammy award-winning band’s own website. The tens of thousands of views, shares and likes that followed gave them an instant connection with Jamiroquai’s worldwide fanbase and since then they have connected with over 200,000 fans and counting.
Space Cowboy proudly perform all Jamiroquai’s hits… in all those iconic hats!
The one-day Festival will also feature lots of new and exciting additions, including:

This year’ show is again staged by local festival organiser Max Eden, working alongside Poynton Rotary, to deliver a refreshed and updated event for all the family to enjoy.

This year we hope to raise vital funds for Poynton Rotary to enable them to continue the incredible work they do locally in supporting charities and community groups in our area.

The Toni James Band (aka The Floor Fillers) took the Show by storm
An experienced and highly talented band, with a repertoire in excess of 120 songs, across most genres and for all ages, ranging from the great classic soul, Motown and disco, to current pop, RnB and rock anthems.
The founder and lead singer is Toni James, a very polished, sophisticated and dynamic performer. Her resume includes 5 years as ‘stand-in singer’ on The Voice – to allow the judges to practise before the audience and contestants arrive – plus recent live performances on BBC Radio and support for soul legends Mica Paris, Solomon Burke and Ruby Turner.
The musicians are some of the best session players in the UK today, supporting Kylie, Queen, Mick Hucknall, Craig David, Spandau Ballet and many more. They’ve performed at venues/festivals such as Glastonbury, V Festival, M.E.N, Wembley, O2 Arena and Liverpool Echo Arena.
